Fried Rice Noodles

Bihun Goreng

Bihun or rice noodles used a lot in Indonesian cooking. When ever there's a gathering, this Bihun Goreng always show up. Depending on the cooks, they use different kind of vegetables. Meatballs, ground meat, chicken, shrimps or just plain vegetables will be good with this noodles.

1 bag rice noodles
1/4 cup soy sauce

1/4 cup oil
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
2 garlic, bruised and chopped

1/4 tsp turmeric
2 inches ginger, shredded
2 carrots, cut into matchsticks
10 sticks green beans, cut diagonally
3 stalks green onion, cut diagonally

3 cups thinly sliced of chicken or
choice of meat or combinations
1/2 tsp salt
